 | Journalists in extreme situations: what to do? |
Reports and images from the frontline, catastrophes, demonstrations and street marches have always caused a particular reader and viewer interest. For journalists, however, it is not always easy to find facts for such reports and articles. This is a part of the foreword to a book, ”Journalists in extreme situations”, presented at the Press Club Friday.
The book, published by the Committee for journalists rights “Ruh” with sponsorship of “Internews Network” in 700 copies, besides recommendations as to how to act in extreme situations, contains media-related excerpts from the legislation.
This is the first edition of its kind in Azerbaijan and may prove handy at this crucial time for the country, chairman of “Ruh” Aflatun Amashov, head of the Union of journalists Haji Hajiyev and others told the ceremony Friday.*
