Demcongress condemns authorities

The Mejlis of the Democratic Congress held a 4.5-hour meeting Saturday, presided by the chairman of the PFPA conservative wing Mirmahmud Fattayev. The meeting focused on the socio-political situation in the country, the Garabagh problem and ways of its settlement.

The Mejlis adopted 5 resolutions and a nationwide address. The documents will be divulged for press after they are changed and amended by meeting participants.

The address condemns the inactive position of the authorities in the Garabagh issue. Authors of the document says the talks will lead to a defeatist peace.*
