 | Private TV channel opens in western region |
A private TV channel, Channel-S, opened in Azerbaijan’s western Shaki District on Monday.
The new broadcaster with a 50-member technical support and creative staff, which has a new three-story office, will present programs in Azeri eight hours a day. The TV channel will be initially broadcast only in Shaki and some adjacent regions. It will be broadcasted through satellite from 2011.*
