Turkey owes $2mln

Turkish state television channels TRT-1 and TGRT owe Azerbaijan $2 million for the dissemination of their programs on the Azerbaijan territory, minister for communication Nadir Ahmadov told journalists Friday.
The issue was considered by the Azeri-Turkish economic commission, as the Turkish party pledged to clear the arrears shortly. As for STV and NTV, these are private channels and will pay for the broadcasts on time.
Touching upon the debt of Russian ORT and RTR channels, the minister said they are not too big and will soon be repaid.*
