French expert thinks Garabagh can become common territory

A 2-day seminar “Ways of resolving conflicts”, organized by UNDP, completed at the UN Resource Center. It was conducted by the director of the Peace and Democracy Network for Conflict Transformation in Peaceful Means Johan Galtung.
Mr. Galtung told AssA-Irada Wednesday that prior to coming to Baku he had visited Tbilisi and Yerevan. Dealing with conflicts in 45 countries, the specialists said resolution of conflicts in South Caucasus requires the establishment of the Caucasus Community by Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, similar to the European Community, which would have a common parliament. Thus, the three countries can break free of the influence of the neighboring countries, he said.
