 | Group of BTC Sponsors to meet with financial institutes |
A meeting of Group of Sponsors for construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan MEP with international financial institutes is due in the USA in April. The meeting, to be attended by WB, EBRD, creditor organizations and private banks, will mark the beginning of a search for financial resources for construction of the pipeline.
According to SOCAR, the Azerbaijan party will be represented by the Head of SOCAR’s foreign investment section Valeh Alasgarov.
A BP source has confirmed the meeting report, but declined to elaborate its timing.*
