Housing privatization slowing down

As of early March 2001, 303,000 apartments with total space of 16 million square meters had been privatized. In February, 1,000 apartments with total space of 50,000 square meters were denationalized, the lowest monthly indicator since the beginning of privatization. The slowing down has been observed since 1995.
For the time being, a little over 48% of housing slated for privatization has been denationalized.*
