Over two thirds of turnover made up of food

As is known, the share of population expenses on food is one of the key indicators of the living standards. In the first two months of 2001, food totaling AZM1,322,600,000,000 were sold to the population, or 68% of total retail turnover. The sale of food, as compared to 2000, has increased 8.2%.*
