Electrical energy production up

Growth in electrical energy production, in evidence since latter half of 2000, is yielding fruit. Thus, 3,803,000,000 KWH of electrical energy, or 5.4% over 2000, was produced in January-February of 2001.
The surge in thermal energy production made up 39%.*
