 | Telecom Ministry thwarts illegal phone business |
Representatives of the Ministry of Communication, in conjunction with interior police, conducted a raid Friday detaining some 25 people involved in illegal telephone communication services to the population. Their mobile phones have been confiscated, the Ministry told AssA-Irada Friday.
The Ministry has said it will press ahead with the measures toward thwarting illegal telephone business, which has already cost the state budget millions of dollars.*
