Renowned mugham singer to give concert in UAE

Renowned mugham singer Alim Gasimov, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, is scheduled to give a concert in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) late in February.

The Ministry of Culture told AssA-Irada that the concert to be held in Abu Dhabi would be organized by the UAE Ministry of Culture. Gasimov, who has made the Azerbaijani national music famous in a number of world countries, will perform mughams at the event.

A series of events on the Azerbaijani culture and arts are planned to be held in the UAE in 2004.*
