Free Consumers to file appeal

The Nasimi district court ruled on March 17 that chairman of the Union of Free Consumers Ayyub Husseinov must refute his own statement.

“ALKO ltd.” filed a suit against Ayyub Husseinov three months ago for his saying that the “Zig” vodka produced by the company is unfit for consumption. Although A. Husseinov claimed that an international expertise proved his allegations right, judge T. Mahmudov sustained the company’s suit. The UFC chairman challenged the ruling, saying he would go to the court of appeal and international court if necessary.*
