Prospects of defense industry discussed

Defense Minister Colonel-General Safar Abiyev has received a delegation led by the logistics commander of Turkish Ground Force Major-General Hasan Deyirmancioglu Friday, according to the MOD. Indicating that Azeri-Turkish military cooperation has entered a crucial stage, Gen. Abiyev said that after the signing of the agreement on military Azeri-Turkish cooperation, Azerbaijan’s defense industry has been steadily developing. He emphasized that with the aid of fraternal Turkey Azerbaijan’s defense complex is capable of logistical support for the armed forces.
The distinguished guest stated that bilateral military cooperation is one of the important avenues for mutual exchange of military experience. He added that this course would be pursued in the future.*
