 | Azercell launches scholarship program |
Azerbaijan’s leading cellular operator, Azercell, held an “Open Doors” event at the Caucasus University on Tuesday to kick off a scholarship program for students with outstanding academic achievements.
Students attending the event received comprehensive information about the program. Those mastering such sciences as computer engineering, computer systems and networks, as well as business administration, were advised by the company’s specialists about training sessions pertinent to their fields of study and job opportunities.
Within the framework of the Special Career Program being conducted by Azercell Telecom, a contest for the scholarship program has been announced for students. The aim of this program, implemented under the “You Are the Future!” motto, is to support successful students in their pursuit of academic excellency and help them become highly-qualified professionals in the future.
Winners of the contest will receive monthly scholarships from Azercell. Furthermore, scholarship recipients will get familiar with the company’s corporate culture and have an opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice. Junior and senior-level students from the Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Economic University and the Caucasus University can participate in the contest.
Those seeking scholarships are to submit their documents by November 15 to the Customer Care Office located at Basti Baghirova Street, 2. Application forms and the list of documents are available at www.azercell.com.
A maximum of 15 students will receive Azercell scholarships.*
